1. Agreement
By accessing or using Timamu services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Timamu for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
2. What Timamu is
Timamu provides file-preparation software and related tools. Capabilities can vary by platform, file format, codec, browser, device, operating-system policy and product version. A feature description does not promise support for every possible file of that general type.
3. Local and online processing
Supported Timamu Web prepare, compress, convert, and merge workflows process file content in the browser on your device. Timamu does not upload source media to a Timamu processing server for those supported local workflows. Originals stay intact, and Timamu writes a separate prepared output. Recent work and re-download depend on that local output remaining available in the same browser on that device. Timamu does not store that media in the cloud for normal Web prepare. Other present or future features may require an internet connection, license verification, or a platform store. Any feature that would transmit file content must be clearly identified in the product before that transfer. The Privacy Policy explains what Timamu collects and does not collect. You are responsible for deciding whether a particular workflow is appropriate for the files you use with it.
4. Purchases
Prices, taxes, plan, currency, and renewal terms (if any) are the terms shown at checkout or by the applicable app store. Changed your mind? Ask for a refund within 7 days of purchase. This applies to every plan: monthly, yearly, lifetime, and the NGN passes. There are no refunds after that window, and no partial or pro-rated refunds. Refunds for App Store purchases follow Apple's process. Refunds for Google Play purchases follow Google's process. Cancelling a renewing plan stops future renewals. It does not refund a period that has already started. Timamu Web checkout is provided by Stripe or Paystack. The Nigeria Timamu-owned no-card trial starts when you submit the email Timamu asks for, and it is not a card payment. A purchase or trial does not give Timamu a copy of your source media, or a cloud library of prepared outputs, for normal Web prepare. A one-time local software purchase does not automatically include future paid cloud storage, sync, hosted AI, or other continuing services unless the purchase screen expressly says it does.
5. Accounts and licensing
You must provide accurate information where a purchase record, Nigeria trial signup, or other record is required. You may not sell, share, clone, forge, or circumvent license credentials or device authorizations. Reasonable purchase-verification and anti-fraud checks may be used to protect legitimate customers and Vant Inc.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Timamu to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malicious code, attack or probe Timamu systems without authorization, defeat licensing, overload public services, or process material where your use itself is unlawful. Timamu is a general-purpose utility; you are responsible for the files and rights you bring to it.
7. Backups and important files
Supported Web preparation leaves your original intact and writes a separate prepared output. Recent work and re-download remain available only while that local output remains in the same browser on that device. You remain responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data. Compression, conversion, and recovery can fail, and some file damage is irreversible.
8. Recovery and compatibility
“Recovery,” “repair,” “compatible,” “optimized” and similar language describes supported product workflows, not a guarantee that every damaged or unusual file can be reconstructed or that every destination will accept every output. Timamu should disclose unsupported routes and errors rather than invent a successful result.
9. Third-party services and stores
Stripe, Paystack, app stores, operating systems, codecs, and other external services may apply their own terms. The payment provider receives card and payment data under its terms. Vant Inc. does not keep your full card number for ordinary validation. Vant Inc. is not responsible for a third party changing, suspending, or restricting its service. Store-specific rules may supplement these Terms.
10. Intellectual property
Timamu, its branding, software, website design and original documentation are owned by Vant Inc. or its licensors. Open-source components remain governed by their respective licenses. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Timamu to you.
11. Feedback
If you send product ideas or feedback, you allow Vant Inc. to use them without restriction or compensation, provided that this does not transfer ownership of your pre-existing confidential materials.
12. Changes and availability
We may improve, change, deprecate or discontinue a feature. We will try to avoid misleading customers about materially reduced paid functionality and will honor non-waivable consumer rights that apply in your jurisdiction.
13. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Timamu is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties that can legally be disclaimed, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vant Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data or business interruption arising from Timamu. Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid Vant Inc. for the affected Timamu product or service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires a different result.
15. Termination
We may restrict access to online services for material violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse or security risk. Termination of an online service does not automatically revoke perpetual software rights that were validly purchased, except where the applicable license itself has been terminated for breach.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except to the extent mandatory consumer law in your place of residence requires otherwise.
