YOUR FILES. YOUR CONTROL.

What Timamu collects, and what stays on your device

Supported Timamu Web prepare, compress, convert, and merge tools run in your browser. Files stay on your device. Your original stays intact, and Timamu writes a separate prepared output.

Local processing

Supported prepare, compress, convert, and merge work runs in your browser. Timamu does not upload that source media.

Originals stay untouched

Timamu writes a separate prepared output and leaves your original intact.

Output checks

Invalid or incomplete outputs are not silently presented as ready.

Recent work

Re-download depends on the local output on that device and browser. Timamu does not store that media.

Privacy Policy

This page explains how we handle your information when you use Timamu. Timamu is a product of Vant Inc. It covers timamu.app, web.timamu.app, our apps, licensing, support, and related services.

Last updated: October 28, 2026

A. Who is responsible

Vant Inc., a Delaware company, is responsible for personal data used with Timamu. Privacy: [email protected]. Legal: [email protected]. Support: [email protected]. Delaware law applies to these product terms, unless the law where you live says otherwise. See our Terms of Use for more.

B. Your files

Your files are processed on your device. We don't upload or keep them.

C. What we collect

Depending on how you use Timamu, we may handle:

  • Account details you give us, such as your email, a protected form of your password or sign-in link, Google or Apple sign-in details if you use them, session details, and device names you choose.
  • Purchase details needed to run your plan, such as plan type, offer, payment company customer and subscription IDs, currency, country for payment routing, and trial status. Your full card number stays with the payment company.
  • Support messages and feedback you send us, including a reply email or screenshots if you add them.
  • Simple product usage events on web.timamu.app after you say yes to analytics. These do not include file names, file paths, or file contents.
  • Website visit measurement on timamu.app through Google Analytics, only after you say yes to analytics.
  • A scrambled version of your IP address for security and sign-in protection. We never store the real IP, and we delete the scrambled version after 45 days.
  • Optional crash or usage reports from the apps, only if you turn that on.
  • Details needed only while you send files between your own devices. See section G.
  • Waitlist email and platform preferences, until 45 days after launch or until you unsubscribe.

D. What we do not collect

  • The contents of files you process on your device.
  • File names or file paths in product analytics.
  • Recordings of your screen, keystrokes, or form fields you did not choose to send.
  • Advertising IDs meant to track you across other sites for our product analytics.
  • A cloud library of your files.
  • Full payment card numbers in our own systems.
  • Visitor IDs, session IDs, campaign tags, or analytics events before you accept analytics. Until then we only use what is needed to run the site, such as language and your privacy choice.

On timamu.app and web.timamu.app we show a cookie banner with Accept all, Reject all, and Manage. Nothing optional is turned on for you in advance. We remember your choice on this device. We ask again after 12 months, or if this policy changes in a way that needs a new choice. You can open Privacy choices anytime from the footer or from Settings in the app.

  • Essential. Always on. Language, your privacy choice, sign-in session, and basic security. These keep the site working.
  • Analytics. Only if you accept. Helps us understand product use on web.timamu.app and visits on timamu.app through Google Analytics. Analytics tools load only after you accept. Google Analytics keeps that visit data for up to 2 months.

F. Payments

Checkout runs through Stripe or Paystack under their terms. We keep the IDs and subscription status we need to run your account. Invoices and full payment details stay with the payment company. We do not store full card numbers.

G. Sending files between your devices

When you send files between your devices, they're encrypted. We can't see them. Connection details are deleted after 45 days.

H. Companies that help us

We use other companies only for clear jobs. Where the law requires it, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or similar tools for international transfers:

  • Stripe: card payments
  • Paystack: payments in some markets
  • Cloudflare: site delivery and security
  • Railway: hosting our servers
  • Resend: sending account and support email
  • Google: optional sign-in and website analytics after you accept
  • Apple: optional sign-in
  • A network provider for device-to-device transfers

I. How long we keep information

  • Day-to-day records such as analytics events, visitor IDs, feedback and screenshots, sign-in link records, scrambled IP records, connection details from device transfers, crash or usage reports, trial claims, and operational logs are deleted after 45 days.
  • Waitlist entries are deleted 45 days after launch, or 45 days after you unsubscribe.
  • Payment company IDs and subscription status stay while your account needs them. Invoices stay with the payment company.
  • Your account stays until you delete it. After you delete it, we finish removing it within 30 days.

J. Age

Timamu is for people 18 or older. You confirm this when you sign up or check out. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

K. Free trial checks

Whether you can start a free trial may be decided automatically using your market or country. If you think that decision is wrong, email [email protected] and a person will review it. In the product you will also see a link that says “Think this is wrong? Contact us.”

L. Your rights, breaches, and how to reach us

Depending on where you live, you may ask to see, correct, delete, limit, or move certain personal information, or object to how we use it. You may also contact a regulator. Email [email protected]. We aim to reply within 30 days.

If a personal data breach must be reported under the law, we will tell the right authority and, when required, the people affected as soon as we can, and within 72 hours when that is required and possible.

Privacy: [email protected]. Legal: [email protected]. Support: [email protected]. Controller: Vant Inc.
