Shrink scanned PDFs, screenshots and phone photos on Windows.
Files that arrive on a Windows computer are often scanner PDFs, PNG screenshots, Office exports and HEIC photos copied from an iPhone. Timamu Web prepares them in the browser, so there is nothing to install.
What people bring from Windows
- Scanner and print-to-PDF files that are too large for a portal or an email attachment.
- PNG screenshots that are heavy because they save every pixel. Compress them, or convert them to JPEG when they are photos.
- HEIC photos copied from an iPhone, which Windows may not open without an extra codec. Timamu converts them to JPEG or PNG.
- Project folders and 7-Zip archives. Folder to ZIP is Free, and 7z is Premium.
Steps on Windows
- Open Timamu Web in the browser you already use.
- Choose the file, or drag it in from File Explorer.
- Pick the job, such as compress a PDF to 2 MB or convert HEIC to JPG.
- Download the prepared copy. Your browser saves it to its usual download folder and the original stays where it was.
